Hello, my name is David and thank you for visiting Nine Maidens Forge. I am an independent knife maker, creator and hot metal hitter.
On my site, you will find a selection of handmade items from my forge, ranging from the kitchen to the campsite and further.
My Goal
My goal is to provide people with hand crafted items, designed for function and form. I have always enjoyed the outdoors, cooking and camping, and I want others to be able to do so as well. Having good quality tools with which to do so is key, and I want to help out with that.
My Vision
My vision is to create and sell core lines of equipment, while exploring my passion for creation and doing unique and custom work, to make sure that all of my customers' needs are fulfilled.

I want to build a community of people who appreciate quality while doing the things that they love, whether that means making good food or whittling a stick by the campfire.
What Else?
Alongside functional items for everyday use, I will be providing a variety of Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) and re-enactment gear from a variety of sources. Some handcrafted in the forge, and some from the well-known brands that supply HEMA clubs all over the world.
